Mrs. Marilyn Frances Haggerty, age 68, passed away Thursday, 11 January 2024. Marilyn was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 25, 1955 to parents Emil H Coldewey and Mary Louise Foster https://www.va.gov/burials-memorials/what-to-expect-at-military-funeral/. She will be remembered for her wonderful smile, great cooking, friendliness, and caring for others. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Emil and Mary Louise Coldewey, and her brother Kenneth Coldewey. She is survived by her loving husband John (Dave) Haggerty; her children and their (spouses); Brian Haggerty, Greg (Ela) Haggerty, Steven (Yvette) Haggerty, and Jenny Haggerty (Brian Wallace); Grandchildren, Eric Byrd, Jasmin Haggerty, Brady Haggerty, Felicity Haggerty, Alexandra Haggerty, Olivia Haggerty, Leyah Wallace, Elizabeth Wallace, and Samuel Wallace; Brothers Alan Coldewey (Linda), Dennis Coldewey (Patsy), Christopher Coldewey (Christine); Sisters Beverly Singleton (Calvin), Karen Laskowski (Ray), Linda Guidry (Victor), and Debra Foster (Jeffrey Flory).
A funeral mass will be conducted Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 11 o'clock at St Matthew Catholic church, 215 Kirkley Road, Tyrone GA. Father Valerie Akoh principal celebrant. Inurnment will take place at a future date at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made the American Cancer Society, www.donatecancer.org.
A funeral mass will be conducted Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 11 o'clock at St Matthew Catholic church, 215 Kirkley Road, Tyrone GA. Father Valerie Akoh principal celebrant. Inurnment will take place at a future date at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
