The daughter of Charles P. and Permelia (Gardner) Jordan, Elizabeth married Albert Haden, the son of Jabez and Sarah (Pratt), at East Bridgewater on Nov. 1, 1867. The couple had three children, including Aimee, born in 1872; Sarah P., born in 1877; and Maria Bates, born in 1880.
Widowed in 1897, Elizabeth's obituary indicated she died at 268 Brookline Ave., Boston, a home she had shared with her daughter Sarah for 35 years. As a child she had attended East Bridgewater public schools and was a member of the Unitarian Church. After moving to Boston she attended the Meeting House Hill Church in Dorchester.
