Joann T. Watson, age 92, passed away to be with the Lord and her late husband Paul Watson on January 9, 2024.

Born on October 26, 1931 in Wooster, OH to the late Harold L. and Mildred I. (White) Haidet, she was a resident of Dalton since 1977. Joann retired from Rubbermaid after many years of service where she worked in the purchasing department. She enjoyed crafts, bird watching, the outdoors, traveling, church activities and spending valuable time with friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. in 2016; brothers, Bill, Paul, and Clifford Haidet. She is survived by special friends and caregivers, Todd (Angela) Steiner, Mitch (Dawn) Steiner all of Dalton; niece, Diane Kovack; nephew, Douglas Haidet; and many other close friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Apostolic Christian Home for their loving care of Joann in the time she spent with them.

A private interment will take place at Dalton Cemetery. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Joann's honor to Ohio's Hospice Lifecare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH, 44691 or to the Apostolic Christian Home, 10680 Steiner Rd., Rittman, OH, 44270.
