Bernard "Bernie" M. Faccenda, Age 78, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. He was born March 30, 1945, in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Romauldo and Lena Faccenda.

Bernie graduated from Dormont High School, class of 1963, before going to work in the automotive industry as a parts manager, service manager, and parts and service director. Bernie was loved by many. He was kind, caring and someone who everyone wanted to be around. He was funny, smart, wise and full of personality. One of his true joys in life were his hot rods, and he was a member of classic car clubs Cruisin' Classics, NSRA and Goodguys. Bernie was dedicated to his family and church and always enjoyed working at the St. Louise de Marillac annual men's fish fry. He was very proud to be a long-time Mason at Centennial Lafayette 544 lodge, where he was Past Master from 1994-1996. Bernie also had many nicknames throughout his life such as Father Guido, Mr. Wonderful, Big Papa, Uncle 'B' and Handsome.

He met the love of his life, Audrey, while working together at Batey Chevrolet. It was the beginning of a beautiful love story of marriage and merging family. Bernie and Audrey celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary last year.

Bernie was the father of sons Daniel (Mette) and Bernie, Jr. (Stephanie), and daughter Amy (Brian); In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Carmen (Evelyn), Louis (Mandy), Anthony (Alice) and Raymond (Marlene), and sister Rose Clair (Al). He is survived by brothers Michael (Donna), Joseph (Ada), and James (Cheri), and sister Gina McGall (Bill); stepdaughter, Tamara (Jonathan); stepson, Aaron; eleven grandchildren, Ivy, Lilly, Trey, Caitlyn, Cameron, Kaya, Jordan, Jacob, Tyson, Elena and Sawyer; three great grandchildren Egan, Asher, and Lily; sister-in law Christine and her daughter Valerie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements by BEINHAUER, 2828 Washington Road McMurray PA 15317, 724-941-3211. Family and friends are welcome Sunday, January 14, 2024 2:00-8:00 P.M. and Monday, January 15, 2024 8:30-10:00 A.M. A funeral mass and service will be held at St. Louise de Marillac Church on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 10:30 A.M.
