Gertrude Thayer Almy
Mrs. Gertrude Thayer Almy, 69, a noted horticulturist, died Saturday at her home, Lowland Farm, Malvern.
A frequent contributor to the Garden Club of America Bulletin, Mrs. Almy was awarded that organization's medal merit in 1972.
Mrs. Almy is survived by three sons, William E. Jr., John and R. Christopher, a daughter Mrs. Charles P. Slichter and two sisters, nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Peter's in the Great Valley Church, Paoli.
Burial will be u=in the Church Cemetery.
