Michael Scott Busse, 58, of Tequesta, Florida, passed away on June 29, 2023 surrounded by family. Formerly of Chicago, Illinois, he was born on September 22, 1964 to Clarence and Marie Busse.
Michael was a loving father to his three sons, Paul of Winter Springs FL, Christopher (Juliana) of Highlands Ranch CO and Ryan of Tequesta FL.
He is survived by his three sisters, Gwen (late Thomas) Qualls of Wisconsin, Janet Metzger (Ray) of Arizona, Patty (Steve) Oganovich of Indiana and Lexxi (His beloved husky); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, his former wife, Paula Shaffer; his mother in law, Darlene Shaffer and sisters in law, Patty, Pam and Peggy.
He is predeceased by his parents; his two brothers, Brian Busse (Deb) and David Busse (Yukyong) and his father in law, Paul Shaffer.
Michael was an Operations Manager for Verizon Business for 35 years forming close bonds with his coworkers. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed boating and fishing with his sons, hiking and running with his running group.
