Bernard Harold Alderman, 93, of West Haven passed away peacefully on May 21, 2022. Born in New Haven to the late Israel and Rose (Isenberg) Alderman. He was predeceased by his brother, Norman; sister-in-law, Elinor Alderman; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Matthew and Elaine Katz.

He is survived by his wife of 73 years. Loving father to his children and his ex daughter-in-law. Loving grandfather and loving great-grandfather.

He served in the Korean War in Germany as a medic. He served as president of Congregation Sinai in West Haven for many years.
He was an active member of the West Haven B'nai Brith and was an avid Mets and Giants fan. He enjoyed traveling with his family and his friends.

Funeral services will be held at Cong. Sinai Memorial Park, Farwell St. West Haven on Tuesday afternoon, May 24th at 12:00 Noon. The Robert E. Shure & Son Funeral Home, New Haven is in care of Arrangements.
