"William Delehant died yesterday at his home, 287 Fourth street, Troy. He was a half brother of Anthony N. Brady, of Albany. He was born about 60 years ago in Troy, the son of Michael Delehant, who was one of the Irish pioneers in Troy. Mr. Delehant had resided in Troy all his life. He had been more or less ill for the past year, but he had suffered no serious trouble until Thursday evening, when he sustained a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Delehant was a bookkeeper at the works of the Troy Electric Light company. His son, James Delehant, died only two weeks ago. Mr. Delehant is survived by his wife, two sons, John and Michael Delehant, and two daughters, Mrs. F. L. Burton of Slingerlands, and Miss Helen Delehant. The funeral will be held to-morrow morning from St. Mary's church, Troy, and the interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery." [The Argus (Albany, NY), Sunday Morning, August 7, 1910, p. 7]
