Janet was a cute baby, full of life and very observant of her surroundings. She had incurred significant head trauma at just eighteen months due to a car accident that caused epileptic seizures later in life. Janet was a typical child who enjoyed the wonderful life with which she was blessed. She was a normal teenager, excited to get her driver's license. Janet and her mom enjoyed traveling to Jerusalem, Israel.

GRADUATE, Viewmont High, Class of 1971; attended BYU and GRADUATE, Utah State University, Logan, Utah having earned her Bachelor's degree in Communications.

With this marriage, Janet inherited X bonus children who she loved as her own.

She loved to be independent and living on her own was such a joy to her. She owned her own home. She loved attending the temple, reading the newspaper, watching the news, doing extraction/genealogy work, and making sure she and her family had food storage.

She saved her money. She was a hard worker and a woman of faith and prayer. Janet lived a life full of faith, prayer and hard work. Rarely, did she question the Lord about the life she was given. Truly, Janet was a beautiful miracle despite having to deal with Epilepsy, falls, tumors, and Dementia. She never questioned the Lord about it.

Janet was direct in her her opinions, but also tried her best to understand others' opinions. She loved to vote and talked about who was running in the next election.

She loved being a visiting teacher. Her feet were her wheels and she would walk in the morning and evening, also to and from work. She was a wiz at memorizing Dr. Seuss's books to her kids and grandkids. Another favorite was her recitation of the poem, "Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego".

Janet enjoyed attending Ballet West's Nutcracker with her family and listening to the Beatles. Taking trips to Island Park, Idaho; Minnesota, Jerusalem, Alabama, Arizona, and around Utah and visiting with family and friends helped fill Janet's days.

Janet wanted things done her way and strove to be early (preferably) or on time to everything. She hated to be late!

She is survived by her Children: . Grandchildren: Andres (Mikaila) Romero, Davin Griffeth, Trent Handy, Claudia Handy, Dean Sefita, Cristian Handy, David Sefita, Chole Savage. Great Grandchild: Lucas Romero. Siblings: Leslie (Michael) Hoxsie, Denise Willey, Stephanie Bell, Sue Noorda, Carol Nelson, Joseph Wadsworth, Hyrum (Louise) Wadsworth, Torrie (Robert) Sutphin, Teresa Reinacher, Heber (Shannon) Wadsworth, Raquel Wadsworth, Roxanne Gledhill, Tiffany (Charles) Copsey, Timothy Wadsworth, James Wadsworth, Christian Wadsworth and countless cousins, nieces and nephews and a Great Aunt: Dolores (David) Yates.

The viewing will be Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Russon Mortuary on 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, January 8, 2024, at the Val Verda 2nd Ward on 3317 S 800 W, Bountiful, Utah. A viewing from 10-10:45 a.m. Family Prayer is at 10:45 a.m. Funeral starts at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery on 1640 Lakeview Dr., Bountiful, Utah, (South of the Bountiful Temple) following the funeral (bring a blanket/coat it might be chilly).

Services will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary & Crematory Facebook page and on this obituary page. The live stream will begin about 10-15 minutes prior to the service and will be posted below.
