She is survived by her son Craig Deal, Mason, daughter and son-in-law Michele & Bryan Moore, and grandson Gavin Moore, Concord, Ohio and other beloved family and friends.
Rita instilled a love of crafts & learning in many young lives as a nursery school teacher at her church, Good Shepherd Lutheran in Kenwood, Ohio. Rita loved spending time outdoors tending to her beautiful flower gardens. She cherished her friendship of 79 years with her dear best friend Marti Foster, Columbus, Ohio.
Family and friends may call at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Road (Rte. 42), West Chester, Wednesday January 10th from 2pm-4pm, followed by a brief service at 4pm. Burial at Obetz Cemetery, Columbus, OH, Thursday January 11th at noon. Memorials may be given in Rita's name to Good Shepherd Nursery School or church.
