Richard loved hunting, fishing and snowmobiling, but his greatest joy was spending time with the grandkids.
Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline; one son, Eric Burgess; two grandchildren, Marshall Elwood and Eli Burgess; step-mother, Cathleen Rose; two brothers, Jeffrey (Tammy) Burgess and Steven (Tracie) Burgess; brother-in-law, William Naessens; sister-in-law, Shelley Burgess and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents; sister, Wendy Naessens and brother, Robert Burgess.
Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled.
