Funeral services for Mrs. Maude G. Stewart, 65, of 1714 Cedar St., who died Wednesday in a local hospital, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Second Street Methodist Church where the body will lie in state from 2:30 to 3 p.m. The Rev. Earl Duke and the Rev. Hubert Hollis will officiate, and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Stewart was born April 15, 1903 in Crawford County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Kneece and had lived in Macon for the last 45 years, coming here from Byron. She was a member of the Second Street Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, James T. Stewart of Macon, one daughter, Mrs. Norman Ussery of Macon; one son, Eugene T. Stewart of Macon; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Jackson of Macon, Mrs. Nelson Warlick of Valdosta, and Mrs. Albert Rice of Long Island, N.Y. Hart's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
