Betty Louise Barnett, 90, of Wurtland, Ky., died Monday evening in Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.
She was born Feb. 4, 1928, in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of the late George and Mary Studebaker Guisinger.
Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Barnett, in 1988.
Surviving are two sons, David Barnett and wife Debbie of Lexington, Ky., and Greg Barnett of Ashland, Ky.; five daughters Diann Moore and husband Larry of Columbus, Ohio, Rita McAllister and husband Gary of Flatwoods, Ky., Debbie Barnett of Ashland, Rose Barnes and husband Mike of Columbus, Ohio, and Kim Blair of Westwood, Ky,; and a sister, Jo Ann Nykaza of Columbus.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland by Mike Barnes.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Today at the funeral home.
