Maxine E. Beberstein, 72, of Opp, Ala., formerly of New Haven, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Manford and Patricia (France) Armstrong.
She had a 42-year career as a registered nurse and worked for several area nursing homes. She enjoyed reading, cross stitching, cross word puzzles, and traveling. Her grandbabies were the loves of her life.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Jerry in 2014.
Private family service. Burial in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Auburn. Preferred memorials to American Heart Association and Autism Society America. Arrangements by Harper's Community Funeral home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
