Patty Tamala Yeager Speer, 63, of Cullman passed from this life peacefully on December 25, 2023 in the presence of her loving family. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church in Holly Pond at 12 pm. Interment will be held at New Hope Cemetery.

Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.

Patty was born January 5, 1960, to Buell Talmadge Yeager and Thelone Payne Yeager.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Hershel Joseph Speer.

Survivors include her daughter, Mallory (Greg) Holcomb, brother, Barry Yeager; grandsons, Wyatt Holcomb and Lane Holcomb.

Family describes Patty as a loving, outspoken, and very creative and talented poet. She loved her grandsons so much and they were her life. She loved the Lord most of all and was really happy to be going home.

Family requests no flowers, but if any flowers are ordered, please deliver them to New Hope Baptist Church on Thursday from 11 am-12 pm if possible.
