Carol J. Dietz, 84, of St. Marys, Ohio passed away on December 25, 2023 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born December 1, 1939 in St. Marys to the late Howard and Cynthia (Kriemes) Burden.
Survivors include her children, Don (Nikki) Dietz, St. Marys, Michael (Shereen) Dietz, Rhode Island and Tracy Dietz, Lima; a brother, Larry (Kay) Burden, St. Marys; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Carol was also preceded in death by two daughters, Rebecca Sue Dietz and Dawn Ann Dietz; and her brothers, Jerry, Joe, Leo, Henry, and Noel Dean Burden.
She was a 1957 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She retired from Good Year Tire Company in St. Marys after 31 years of service.
Carol was a member of Grace Church in St. Marys. She enjoyed attending church, listening to gospel music, helping people that were shut in, needle pointing, crafts, painting of ceramics and was an avid sports fan of the Buckeyes and Riders. Additionally, Carol loved her family and will be missed by them all.
Memorial services will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm prior to the services at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Memory Garden, St. Marys, Ohio.
