Mrs. Mildred M. Kemmerer, 89, of Mahoning Township, passed into eternal rest on Saturday, Dec. 23rd at The Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Kemmerer who passed away Oct. 5, 2006. She was born in Franklin Township on Friday, Aug. 24, 1934. Her late father was a Gressler (first name unknown) and her late mother was Louise (Kressley) Gressler. Prior to her retirement in 1989, she was employed as a production technician at the former Keystone Lamp Factory, Slatington with 32 years of service. Mildred attended church services at Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville, and also Dinkey Memorial Lutheran Church, Ashfield. She loved spending the winter season in California, playing cards, & taking trips to the Casinos. Surviving is a daughter, Louise Klusaritz (Dennis) of Slatington, 3 sons, David Kemmerer (Cindy) of Franklin Township, James Kemmerer (Charlene Brundige) of Lehighton, Ricky Kemmerer (Nancy) of Ridley Park, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Kemmerer, and 4 brothers, Marvin, Edward, Edwin & Robert Gressler. Funeral Services will be private.
