Sara Nell Milam, 83, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2023, following a brief illness. She was born January 3, 1940, in Carrollton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Herbert Holdridge and Cora King Holdridge.

Sara Nell was a 1958 graduate of Carrollton High School and worked for a number of years as an administrative assistant, first at West Georgia College and then at Tanner Medical Center. Following that, she followed her love of flowers and, along with her husband, owned and operated The Flower Boutique until her retirement. She was a faithful member of Roopville Road Baptist Church and enjoyed many of the trips she was able to take with her fellow members. She and her late husband enjoyed spending time together and with family at their second home in Panama City, FL. Sara Nell's heart was that of a true caretaker, and she truly enjoyed taking care of her family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Bradley O. Milam.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters and sons-in-law; Lisa and David Jackson of Roopville and Kristi and Wayne Kee of Dallas, Ga.; grandchildren; Jamie and Kris Helinski, Landon and Ashley Jackson, Will Lanxton, Bailey and Darryl Dodd, Zachary Lanxton and Summer Rey, Murphi Kee; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Helinski, Kody Helinski, Della Jackson, Averie Dodd, and Tripp Dodd.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM from Roopville Road Baptist Church with Dr. Stephen Peeples officiating. Music will be under the direction of Rev. Bryant Turner. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Landon Jackson, Will Lanxton, Zach Lanxton, Kristopher Helinski, David Jackson and Wayne Kee. .

Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27th, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers are welcome but for those who desire the family request memorial contributions be made to Roopville Road Baptist Church, 835 US Hwy 27, Roopville Ga. 30170.
