Larry Lee Blakemore
Age 90, a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, left this earth to be with Jesus on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Prairie Grove Health & Rehab in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He was born April 27, 1933 at home in Hogeye, near Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of Ralph and Sylvia (Phillips) Blakemore.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph C. Blakemore, his mother Sylvia B. Blakemore Hamilton, two brothers Raymond Blakemore and Lonnie Blakemore, and one sister Bessie Mae Bryan.
Survivors include his wife of forty three years Gloria Wilhite Blakemore; three daughters Debra Brown and husband Jerry of Rogers, Arkansas, Diane Reed and her husband Leslie of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Teresa Walch of Rogers, Arkansas; one son Rickey Blakemore and wife Carolyn of Prairie Grove; eight grandchildren Joshua Reed, Christina Cryder, Wesley Blakemore, Paige Weeks, Cindy Clow, Bobby Reed, Nichole Walch and Zach Walch; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Prairie Grove Health & Rehab for the exceptional love and care given to Larry and the family during his stay.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Illinois Chapel Cemetery, there will be no graveside service
