Services for Mrs. Carolyn R. Suggs, 46, of Shreveport, will be helld [sic] at 11:30 a.m. Monday Dec. 26 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. The Rev. Eddie DeHondt, associate pastor of Summer Grove Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial: Forest Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Suggs, born in Quitman, La. and a resident of Shreveport for the past five years, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 1983, at Schumpert Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a registered nurse at LSU Hospital for 22 years and was a member of Willow Point Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin L. Suggs, one son, Michael Lee Sugg [sic], and three daughters, Sharon Lynn Dorris, Dianne Suggs, Stephanie Ann Suggs, of Shreveport; one sister, Debbie Howard, and one brother, David Arnold, of Stinnett, Texas; two grandchildren, Jason Dorris and David Dorris; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Jimmy Ayres, Scott Mason, Dale Hayes, David Daniel, Mack Boykin and Alan Malloy.
