Michael, 98 years of age, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, in the presence of his immediate family, after a progressive respiratory decline.

He was born in Puerto Rico, where he completed his schooling, and then moved to New York seeking employment. He joined the army in 1948, and proudly served for 21 years.

Michael met his wife, Audrey, in Panama Canal Zone. Michael served several tours in the post-Korean conflict, and one year in the Vietnam War. Upon retiring from the army, they moved to Leisure City, FL, where he worked for the US Postal Service for 17 years. Following hurricane Andrew, they moved to Roswell, GA, living near their sons, Michael, Jr. and Chris. In 2013, they joined their son, David, in Gainesville, FL.

Michael is survived by his sons Michael Pascual, Jr (Alma Jo), David (Virginia) Pascual, Chris (Rebecca) Pascual, and grandchildren, Michelle, Monica, Luke, Alex, Emily, Michael, Gabriel, Joshua, and Sierra. Thanks to the loving care provided by Christal Jones, On Point, and Haven Hospice staff.

Funeral Mass is Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 10.a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 10900 SW 24th Ave. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell FL.
