Loreta was a towboat cook for over 22 years. She loved to read, cook and spend time with her family. She was a member of Arcadia Methodist Church for many years.
Loreta is survived by one son; Dan Newberry (Cheryl) of Willand, OH.; two daughters, Lynn Scarbrough (John) of Burna and Amy Doom (Gary) of Tiline; seven grandchildren, John Allen, Kristy, Luke, Michah, Sarah, Matt and Phillip; 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband; Earnie Newberry; her parents, Daniel Eastrege Farley and Lake Ovelia (Vaughn) Farley; two brothers, Dorman Farley and Richard Farley.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 23,2023 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funereal Directors and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Paschall officiating.
Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 Am until the funeral hour, Saturday, December 23, 2023 in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
