eugene "toots" bonner was the son of thomas jefferson bonner and rhoda e. dearmore bonner. he was a miner, working coal mines in ark. then uranium mines in co. he married minnie mae butler march 30, 1935. they had two daughters, after losing their first born son. they divorced and he married viola g. burkett sept. 26, 1959 in palisade, co. they lived in colorado before moving to arkansas in 1974. their baby boy is buried in the liberty cemetery, greenwood, ark. in the plot with eugene's brother, james t. bonner. Viola shares a headstone with eugene, but she is buried in the Pecan Cem., In Lawton, Ok.
