She was born in Indianapolis on Dec. 13, 1931, the daughter of the late Gerald and Marie Potter Sargent. She was a graduate West Lebanon High School.
She married Paul E. Branson in Williamsport, and he survives. They enjoyed traveling.
Mrs. Branson was a homemaker. She was a member of Marshfield Presbyterian Church, Attica Moose Lodge 1482 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 2395 of Covington.
Surviving with her husband are three sons, John Bush (wife: Cheryl) of Attica, Mike Bush (wife: Kim) of West Lebanon and Scott Moody of Indianapolis; and a brother, William Sargent of West Lebanon.
