Corporal Moore was a member of Company G, Regiment 353rd, 89th division which took part in the St. Mithiel salient.

Corporal Moore left Winfield with the second draft contingent on September 19, 1917 for Camp Funston.

In January 1918, he was united in marriage to Miss Winnie Fulk daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Fulk, of northwest of Winfield.

He was wounded September 12, 1918, and died four days later.
