Terrie Swallows age 65 of the Muddy Pond Community passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born on Sunday, June 8, 1958 in Crossville, Tennessee to the late Kernel Bruno Swallows and Eliza Jane Padgett Swallows. Mr. Swallows worked with Kroger for 20 plus years as a grocery stocker. He worked with FFM in Monterey for several years.
He leaves behind his sister: Diane Stiles of Crawford TN; brother-in-law: Rev. Glen Murphy; nieces and nephews: Daniel (Aimee) Murphy, Kevin (Amber) Stiles, Christopher (Lori) Murphy, Melissa (Johnny) Pryor, Sherry (Ronald) Sisco. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Violet Murphy and Mable Christian.
Funeral Services were conducted on Wednesday, December 20th from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Glen Murphy officiated. Interment followed in the Muddy Pond Cemetery.
