Age 83, of El Dorado AR, died Tuesday; born in Harrisburg IL to Amos James Doom and Opal Odella Doom; attended the Presbyterian School of Nursing in Chicago during World War II; a stay at home mother for many years before her professional career; she relocated to El Dorado in 1990; retired secretary for the Baptist General Convention of TX, member of First Baptist Church of El Dorado.
Preceded in death by parents, son Stephen Lindley Smith, daughter Cynthia Ann Kuckenbrod, brother Rev James Doom.
Survivors include son Mark Alan Smith (Monica) of El Dorado, five grandsons, two granddaughters, and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of El Dorado, 200 West Main, El Dorado, AR 71730.
