Mrs. Mae Frances Moore Hamilton's soul departed this life on Feb. 1,1993, at her residence at the age of 61, She was born April 18, 1931 in Chickasaw County Miss, to Delone and Myrtlee (Owens) Moore. She was united in marriage to the late Andy B. Hamilton in Houston, Mississippi, in 1965.

Frances confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. She was a former member of the St. Luke's Baptist Church, and later became a member of the Omega Baptist Church. She was employed at Greene Manufacturing for several years, last working in the early 1980's.

She was a loving mother and homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved father, Calvin (Nevada) Johnson of Houston, Miss., father-in -law, Willie (Climbsy) Hamilton of Racine; one son, Andy Hamilton Jr. of Racine; three sisters, Jo Curtis of Racine, Ann (John) Richard of Rockford, Ill., and Deloise (Fred) Bey of Pittsburgh, PA.; three brothers William Henry Owens of Racine, Lee Andrew Johnson of Houston, Ms., and Willie C. Johnson of Rome N. Y; three aunts, Elnora (Tommy) Harris of Tupelo, MS., Adell Jennings of Nettleton, MS., and Clotee Owens Moore of Beloit, Wis., six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Nellie) Williams, Idella Hargrove and Lillie Gilliam. She was predeceased by her mother, Myrtlee Johnson and her husband Andy Hamilton. Funeral services will be Monday, February 8, 1993, at 1 p.m. at New Omega Baptist Church, 1200 Racine Street, with Fred L. Richmond officating. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, February 8, 1993, at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
