Barry was a member of the Leamersville Church of the Brethren. He was a 1971 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. Barry worked at the railroad for a number of years. He was quiet and never said much. In his younger days he loved to play sports, football, baseball, and softball and played for the Nebulous team in the 80's. He even tried bowling when he got older. He loved his garden, especially the tomato plants and taking care of the lawn. He always made sure his sister's supper was on the table as soon as she walked through the door. He also loved taking his family out to eat on Friday or Saturday night.

Friends will be received from 3:00 P.M. until the 6:00 P.M. funeral service on Tuesday December 19, 2023 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with Pastors Stephen and Marilyn Durr officiating. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to your local Humane Society.
