Nellie was a hard worker her entire life. She spent over forty years in the textile industry at Westpoint Stevens. Nellie loved to travel with her family, but it was her personal mission to care for each member of her family.
She is survived by her husband, David Lawless; three sisters, Debra Porter of Pendleton, Lois Black and her husband Eddie of Central, and Jean Stamey, her husband Billy, and their children, Jim, Diane, and Becky, of Pendleton; two bonus sons, Nathan Lawless and Russell Gibson; two grandsons, CJ and Carson Lawless; many nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Dana Mcalister, her husband Nathan, and their son, Cody, and Tracey Ingram, her husband, Patrick, and their two sons, Wyatt and Wes; special aunt, Virginia Haney; a cousin, Alinda Stephens; and her two best friends, Joanne Beebe and Marilyn Garrett.
