Patricia E. Wright, age 87, of Council Bluffs, passed away December 11, 2023 at her home.
Pat was born February 22, 1936 in Missouri Valley, IA to the late Paul and Mary (Gilmore) Behm. She graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1954. Pat married Kenneth Wright on June 14, 1958 in Missouri Valley. They were blessed with nine children. Pat was a homemaker and one-helluva baker. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth in 2019; son-in-law, Dan Hansen; infant brother and 3 sisters.
Pat is survived by her nine children: Steve (Peggy) Wright of Mason City, IA, Dan Wright of Council Bluffs, Mike (Tara) Wright of Bennington, NE, Kevin (Juanita) Wright of Mountain Home, ID, Tim (Marsha) Wright of Council Bluffs, Susan Hansen of Athens, GA, Sandra (Mike) Hasbrouck, Wanda (Craig) Fry, Carol (Trevor) Carritt all of Council Bluffs; 27 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Stebly of Janesville, WI, Paula Allmon of Omaha; many nieces and nephews.
Recitation of the Rosary, Sunday, 5:00 p.m. followed by visitation with the family until 7:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Memorial Mass, Monday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4 Valley View Dr. A lunch will immediately follow in the parish hall. Private family inurnment in Grange Cemetery, Honey Creek, IA. The family will direct memorials.
