Mary Snead Rumley, 82, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, at Annie Penn Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Eden United Methodist Church with the Rev. Herb McClintick officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Rumley was born June 25, 1923, in Rockingham County, to the late Allen "Al" Snead and the late Minnie Roberts Snead.
She was a graduate of Madison High School and Kings Business College. She was a retired grocery store owner and a member of Eden United Methodist Church.
She loved her church, family, friends and flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Abe Jones "A.J" Rumley and a sister, Nancy Snead King.
