Pauline Celestia (Fore) Hodges, 95, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away from this life on November 30, 2023, in Salem, Arkansas. Pauline was born February 12, 1928, in Ott, Arkansas to Ola Ray "Penny" Fore and Elizabeth Ann (Cotter) Fore.

Pauline was united in marriage to Woodrow Eugene Hodges on January 11, 1949, at Salem, Arkansas and they were married for 71 years. To this union, three children were born, Velna Corene, Horace Ray, and Martha Jean. Pauline worked as Quality Inspector at Tri County Shirt Company for many years. Pauline ran to God for her rescue at age 6 and she taught children's church for over 45 years. Pauline graduated from Viola High School. Pauline loved quilting, working in the garden and canning. Pauline enjoyed working in genealogy and she created her own genealogy library. She donated some of her books to the Viola Library. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, friend, and was a member of Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas.

Pauline is survived by two daughters, Velna Everett and husband Curren of Salem, Arkansas and Martha Foster and husband Bob of Salem, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Jackie Adams and wife Renea of Gepp, Arkansas and Beth Ann Adams of Salem, Arkansas; step grandson, Heath Everett of Dallas, Texas; seven great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren; sister, Audrey Young of Overland Park, Kansas; special friend, Nellie Dawn Gilbreath of Salem, Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband (Woodrow Hodges), son (Horace Ray Hodges), grandson (Andrew Foster), parents, brother (Edmon Fore), and brother-in-law (Bill Young).

Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until service time at Barker Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Elizabeth Cemetery Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
