"Osawatomie, Kan. -- The body of Milton R. Hooker, a retired railway conductor, was found yesterday in a second-floor room as firemen combed through the ruins of the John Brown Hotel in downtown Osawatomie. Hooker, 74, was a resident of the 50-year-old hotel, which burned out of control before daybreak yesterday." The Kansas City Star, March 12, 1972
