Harry Thomas "Tommy" Applegate, Jr. of Pell City, Alabama passed away peacefully on June 20, 2023. Tommy was born on December 30, 1946, to Harry and Anna Applegate in Louisville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Anna Applegate, Sister Dixie Adams Lambert and Great Grandson Adam Hurst. Tommy loved his church and church family at Harkey's Chapel in Pell City. Tommy loved his family, friends, and his cars. He could always be found building a custom car, attending a car show, or on the hunt for his next car project at a swap meet. Tommy was known locally and nationally for his amazing work on his custom cars. A memorial service for Tommy was held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City.
