Kenneth LeRoy Aubol of Crandon passed away October 9, 2023, at the age of 96.

He was born January 29, 1927, in Crandon to Harvey and Agnes (Simonson) Aubol. Following high school, Kenneth served in the United States Army. Upon his honorable discharge from the armed forces, he returned to Crandon and began his career as a Rural Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service, a position that spanned over 30 years. In 1955, he married June Robbins in Crandon.

For many years, Kenneth was a member of Gideon International, distributing Bibles to followers of the Christian faith. He also served as the Mayor of the City of Crandon for two terms. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins. In his youth, he raced stock cars in Crandon. He was an active member of Praise Chapel Community Church. Kenneth was a volunteer for the Crandon Area Rescue Squad form 1973-1998. He served on the board for Headwaters Christin Youth.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife June and sister Grace (Al) Carlson.

A funeral service will be held for Kenneth, October 17, 2023, at Praise Chapel Community Church in Crandon at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Franz Gerber will preside. Burial to follow services at Crandon Lakeside Cemetery where Military Honors will be conducted.
