Austin resident for more than 40 years and former employee of the State Highway Department died at noon Saturday. Mr. Robbins was born in Blanco, Jan. 7, 1875. Survivors are 2 sons, Emmett L. of Houston and James M. of Junction; 2 daughters, Mrs. Rosa Bell Yarrington of Houston, Mrs. Annie Ruth Sykes of Santa Monica, CA and 6 sisters, Mrs. Anna Darling of Blanco; Mrs. Sarah Lyle of Dripping Springs, Mrs. Mellie Rawson of Putnam; Mrs. Becky Oliver, Mrs. Mattie Bay and Mrs. Lou Martin of Anadarko, OK. Services will be conducted by Rev. M.B. Harris, Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at the Thurlow Weed Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery under the auspices of the Hill City Lodge #456AF & AM.
