Donnis "Pop" Brasher, 79 of Mineola passed away on December 11, 2018. He was born March 20, 1939 in Crockett, TX to Walter and Berta Mabry Brasher. Donnis retired from Gregg County Precinct 3 Road and Bridge after 11 years of service. His favorite past times were hunting, fishing, camping, riding his John Deere Tractor around his place and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 25 years, Hulda Crone Brasher of Mineola; his son Mark and his wife Cami; Charlie and his wife Rhonda; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; nephew: Roy Brasher, Jr. (Bubba); niece: Sandy Kidwell; niece: Angie Burns; and his two beloved Chihuahuas. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: James and Roy Brasher; his first wife of 18 years, Betty Jane Sawyer Brasher, two daughters, one son, one grandson, and one nephew.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home with a time of visitation with his family to be held immediately following the services in the Gathering Room of the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Flowers are permitted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
