Ella was the daughter of Elijah Yarian and Sarah Cornelia Ditmars.
She married on September 16, 1893, Allen County, Indiana, to Alexander Montooth.
They were living in Swan Township, Noble County, Ohio, in 1900 thru 1930. Alexander was a teamster in 1900, a farmer in 1910 and 1920. Their daughter was still at home in 1930.

MRS. ELLA MAY MONTOOTH DIES AT HOME IN AUBURN

The death of Mrs. Ella May Montooth took place Saturday morning at 7 o'clock at her home at 302 East First street, Auburn. She had been ill with cancer for six months and for some time previously had been in poor health. Her age was sixty-four years on October 8.

Mrs. Montooth was born near Churubusco and had been a resident of Auburn five years. She was united in marriage with Alex Montooth near Churubusco on September 14, 1893, and his death occurred last April 29.

One daughter, Miss Grace Montooth, who resided with her mother, survives. There are four brothers, Henry O. Yarian of Auburn Junction, Emmett Yarian of Wilmette, Ind., Arthur and Oscar Yarian, living near Churubusco, and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Rhodes of Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Montooth was a member of the United Brethren church.

The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence with the Rev. John McKinley, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, assisted by the Rev. Herman H. Hedges, former pastor of the First Church of God of Auburn, officiating. Burial will be made in Cedar Chapel cemetery in Butler township.
