Robert D. "Bob" Passwater, 84, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on December 6, 2023,
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Ellen (Ray) Passwater; and wife, Karen (Ellenwood) Passwater.
He taught at Elmhurst H.S. from 1962 to 1973. Bob was dean at Franklin Jr. for a year then an Assistant Principal at North Side H.S. from 1974 to 1991. He served as Manager of Maintenance and Operations for FWCS from 1991 to 1997. Bob retired from FWCS after over 37 wonderful years in education. He was a member of Maumee Lodge 725 F.A.M. of Fort Wayne Valley of the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed life with his wife Nancy and dogs at Big Long Lake until moving to Estero, FL. Nancy continues to live in their home in Estero, FL.
A Memorial Gathering for Bob will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne (46805). Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne at a later date.
