Mary was a kind and caring woman. She was very sociable and loved to keep up with what was in vogue. She always exhibited elegance and grace in her appearance; not a hair was out of place. She was a true homemaker and loved to cook. She loved to shop and was a collector of angel figurines. She deeply loved and supported her husband D L, even volunteering at the local VFW in Sunbury. She was a Christian woman and conducted herself with the same temperance and compassion that her faith teaches. She was a beloved wife, mother, and friend and her passing leaves us in sorrow as much as it leaves us grateful for having her in our lives for so many years.
Arrangements were made with Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel in Sunbury, Ohio. The family will hold a private visitation. A graveside service will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Westerville, Ohio at 12:30 PM Thursday, December 7, Pr. Daniel Lamphier officiating.
