Emma was the daughter of Henry F. and Sara M. (Brown) Bragg of Seabrook. Both of her parents were born in Seabrook.
She married James L. Cilley as his second wife on December 23, 1896 in Seabrook and had at least six children. They resided in Seabrook. The parents of James were Sewall B. Cilley of Seabrook and wife Nancy (Merrill) Cilley, latter deceased.

Charles Sewall born 1897 recorded first child, James Arthur born 1899 recorded second child, Howard M. born 1900, Henry F. born 1902, Stillborn child 1906, and Herbert Guy born 1909, recorded as 6th child.
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery in Seabrook on March 3,1912, WJ Prescott, undertaker, Hampton Falls.
Her husband died 1926 in Concord and was buried at the State Hospital Cemetery there.
In addition to the three children also buried here, son Howard M. died in Amesbury Massachusetts in 1969 at the age of 69.
