Hansel "Hans" Ray Andrewson, 70, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at McPherson Hospital.
Hans was born on November 19, 1953, in Belleville, Kansas, the son of Arnold Charles and Dorla (Perkins) Andrewson. He graduated from Clyde High School in 1971 and furthered his education at NCK Technical College in Beloit, Kansas. On June 6, 1975, Hans was united in marriage to Anne Kristine Alkire in Concordia, Kansas.
He was a retired operator/utility man for Enterprise Products in Conway.
Hans was a member of First Christian Church, McPherson.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 48 years, Anne; three children; 4 siblings; seven grandchildren; ; and many extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Sonja Taylor, Tyrone Andrewson, Andy Andrewson, and Monti Andrewson.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 11, at the First Christian Church.
Memorial donations may be given to S.O.S. or the First Christian Church in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
