He was retired from Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl & Evva (Cash) Chitwood; one brother Kenneth Chitwood; one sister Marjorie Chitwood Foster.
He is survived by his Debbie Jones of the home; three nieces Beth Woods of Fort Smith, Deon Picanso of Potomac, Virginia and Becky Wear of Fort Smith; one step-daughter Nikki Jones of Van Buren; one step-son of John Cooper; granddaughter Blakely Jones of Van Buren; three grandnieces; five grandnephews and his beloved dog Smokey.
Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
