Barbara Ann Day, 60, of Connersville passed away December 3, 2023 at Reid Hospital, Richmond. Barbara overcame several obstacles throughout her life including living over forty years longer than doctors predicted as well as becoming a mother.
A daughter of Harlen and Diana Foreman Bostic, Barbara was born in Connersville on September 22, 1963 and graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1981. She then attended Ball State University and graduated from Ivy Tech earning her associates in early childhood education.
On October 9, 1993 Barbara married Thomas Day in Connersville. Mr. Day passed away in 2018.
In her leisure, Barbara enjoyed reading, shopping, writing, being with her grandchildren, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her mother, Diana Lackey; two children, Thomas Tyler (Will) Evans and Autumn (Lucas) Walker all of Connersville and five grandchildren.
Besides her husband of 25 years, Thomas Day, Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Harlen Leon Bostic; two children, Kali and Cory Ginter, paternal grandmothers, Sylvia Bostic and Myrtle Foreman.
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Orange Cemetery. Pastor Ron Russell to officiate.
