Bill is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sherry Anderson, and sister Marilyn Powell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Marcia Ann Adams, son-in-law Gerald Anderson, grandsons Brian Anderson and Scott Anderson and, wife Kari, great-grandchildren Trevor Garrett, Alyssa Renee, Bryson Reid, Tristan Scott, and Brooklyn Grace, and brother Donald Jacob Adams.
Bill retired after 33 years of service with Rohn and Hass. He was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church of Trinity where he served as an Usher and President of the Methodist Men. He was a member of the Trinity Memorial Hospital Auxiliary where is also served as President. Staying active in his community, Bill also served on the Westwood Shores Water Board, was an avid Westwood Shores walker, a member of the Masonic Lodge of Tyler, and recently served as the Grand Marshal of the Trinity Community Fair Parade. He was always willing to help a friend or family member in need by providing rides to and from a doctor's appointment or the hospital. An avid golfer, he achieved the rare feat of having not only one but two holes in one during his golfing career.
Bill will be dearly missed by the family and friends that he leaves behind to cherish his memory.
