Tony James Davis was born in Albany, Georgia, on September 9, 1954, to T J Davis and Billie Keith Davis.

He spent his life travelling in a successful career with SoluNET as a salesman. Although he spent much of his life in the Texas heat and on Florida beaches, he settled into Moultrie after retirement to be close to his mother.

Tony's success in sales was due to his quick, sometimes dry, wit and laughter. He could charm the most surly or sell sand at his beloved beaches.

And though he spent much of his life in suits, Tony found happiness in watching the turns of any NASCAR race, a true Dale Earnhardt fan, or the plays of a good football game in a good pair of cargos and a t-shirt.

Tony passed in his home under the watchful guard of his dog, Smokey.

He was preceded in death by his father, T J Davis, and sister, Carita Ann Davis.

He is survived by his mother, Billie Keith Davis; his son, James Davis (Jennifer); granddaughters Grace and Madilyn; sisters Lagina Davis, Andrea Davis and Angel Davis; nieces; nephews and countless friends and family.

Honorary pallbearers are Brian Allen, Jack Tyler, Will Shorey, Dylan Allen, Tanner Tyler and Quen'Tavious Alford.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Moultrie on Sunday, December 3rd at 1 p.m.
