Wendy Dewolf Obituary
Wendy Connors de Wolf, of Bristol, Rhode Island, passed away on Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Bradford Levay de Wolf Sr.

Born on August 26, 1965 to parents, Frederick and Cecelia Connors, she was an avid cheerleader and gymnast at the East Providence High School where she graduated from in 1983. She grew up spending many summers at her family beach house on Prudence Island in Narragansett Bay. In her teenage years, she worked briefly at the Gob Shop in Warren, Rhode Island, where she met her husband of 37 years. They started a family in Bristol,
welcoming four beautiful children, who Wendy would often say was "the best thing she ever did".

A highly motivated woman, she completed an undergraduate degree at Rhode Island College and a graduate degree at the University of Rhode Island, both pertaining to her passion for speech and language pathology and early childhood development. Employed by Newport Regional Special Education, she used these degrees to help many children gain confidence in language and more.

A competent boater, she loved to be on the water. She could often be found with a smile on her face in the stern of her boat, deeming it her "place to watch the world". She particularly enjoyed trips to New Hampshire and the White Mountains with her family, spending lots of time hiking and visiting Storyland to ride the polar coaster. She learned she loved white sand beaches after a memorable trip to Key West. In the more recent years she and her husband Brad made many memories that she endearingly called "Our Adventures". Close to her heart, she loved family time on Prudence Island, a place she visited since she was an infant. In her adult years, she could be found sitting on the deck there, overlooking the bay, with a good book and a loving dog or two by her side.

She is survived by her husband, Bradford L. de Wolf Sr.; her parents Frederick Connors Jr. and Cecelia Connors (née Pasquel) of Rehoboth, MA; and her children, Marc Thomas, Katherine (Kit) Connors, and Grace Levay.
She is preceded by her late son Bradford Levay de Wolf Jr.. She leaves behind her brothers Frederick Connors III and his wife Lisa of Bozrah, CT; Shawn Connors and his wife Leah of Florida; and Brian Connors and his partner Ben of Springfield, MA.

She also leaves behind James (Jim) and Shari de Wolf; Brian and Joan de Wolf; eleven loving nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog, Frank.

She had a selfless personality, spreading kindness and love everywhere she went. She constantly put others before herself, allowing them to flourish while she looked on. Her compassion, warmth and gentleness will be missed by all.

Burial will be private.
Arrangements are with the George Lima Funeral Home.
