Melvin Martin Driskill, was born on May 27, 1935, in San Antonio, Texas. He passed on November 30, 2023, at the ripe old age of 88. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years Marcia, three children, Eric (deceased), wife Laurie, Kelley Tucker, husband Bill, Travis, wife Natalie, and five grandchildren he was so proud of Martin, Tanner, Matthew, Tyler, and Brandy. Melvin graduated from Texas A&M, Class of 1957 and was as proud as any Aggie could be. He was a career military man and after multiple moves with the Air Force, he retired in 1978 and moved the family to Austin, Texas. He made a profound impact on everyone he met. His love of life and family will be missed by all, and the neighbors will miss seeing him in the garage smoking his pipe and watching his two favorite teams, the Aggies and the St. Louis Cardinals.
