Rebekah Alyssa Turner, 19, went home to be with her Lord and Savior April 17, 2008. The Celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at the Midlothian Bible Church, 4250 FM 663, Midlothian, Texas, with the Rev. Tim Wallace and the Rev. Rob Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Alyssa was born in Waxahachie, Texas, to Bob and Laura Turner. She attended school in Midway School District through 9th grade. Alyssa transferred to Waxahachie High School and received her diploma in 2007. She entered the RN nursing program at Navarro College in the Fall of 2007. Alyssa was employed by Sylvan Learning Center.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Bobby S. Turner Sr.; and maternal grandmother, Audrey Beets Fearis.
She is survived by her father, Bobby S. Turner, Jr., of Waco; her mother, Laura Turner, of Waxahachie; sisters, Ande McClain and her husband, Matt and Catalina Turner, of Waco; beloved niece, McKenna McClain, of Waxahachie; her grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. David P. Fearis, III, of Waxahachie; grandmother, Margaret Turner, of Waco; and numerous other relatives and friends.
